Tairua Campground is a family operated ', dog-friendly camping ground, located centrally in Tairua. The harbour, shops, restaurants, cafes and playground are only a short stroll away and one of the Coromandel's finest surf beaches is just down the road. We have a variety of accommodation to suit your needs; Deluxe Cabin and standard Cabins, a Family Room and both Powered and Non Powered camping sites. Most of our sites are 8 metres by 5 metres, so there is plenty of room for all your camping gear. The main kitchen is equipped with dish washing sinks, gas and electric cook tops and electric ovens. Fridges, microwaves, toasters and a water boiler are provided. The water from the taps is town supply, tested and good for drinking. The guest barbecue area is paved with plenty of seating, and has BBQs available at no charge. Located opposite the main kitchen. Showers are located in the amenities block. There is a $2 coin charge for a 7-minute hot shower. On site are also a dump station and fish filleting bench. Free unlimited wifi is available for all camp guests. With our onsite facilities and everything you might need a short stroll away, you may find you hardly need the car.
