Description

This easy track through native bush has creeks for kids to explore and a grassy picnic area close to the car park - it's a great option for families. There is a loop track through the reserve, which crosses over three small foot bridges and takes between 20-30 minutes to complete. There is also a lookout platform in the reserve, from which there is a good view of Wainui Beach and the surrounding hills. There is a grassy picnic area close to the car park with several picnic tables and plenty of room to spread out. The track is well formed and graded and suitable for all age groups and levels of fitness. No dogs.
