Tai Haruru Lodge

Description
Tai Haruru is run by a small group of volunteers from Waitakere Forest & Bird. It's set in a large sheltered native garden, a stones throw from Piha beach.
The lodge has two bedrooms (one with double bed, one with three single beds) and a daybed in the lounge, sleeping up to 5 people. A fireplace makes a wonderful end to a days walking in the winds of a wild west winter, and a heat pump provides instant heat after a rainy walk. The lodge is wheelchair accessible.
The attached self-contained flat has four single beds, sleeping 4 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for 4 people, and a toilet and hot shower five steps from the sliding doors.
Please bring your own linen, toiletries, toilet paper and supplies. All beds have comfortable mattresses, pillows and a duvet. The firewood and all kitchen utensils are provided, as are board games and books to enjoy a relaxing screen free time. No pets please to conserve our native wildlife.
Mobile phone coverage is available.
