At about an hour and half from Invercargill, Borland Lodge is remote enough for a sense of adventure but still easily accessible. The Lodge welcomes /campers, motorhomes and caravans. There are 6 powered and plenty of space for unpowered camping. Borland Lodge is a No Dog Zone to help us protect our native birds. We thank you for your understanding. There are many day walks in the vicinity of the Lodge and along the shore of Lake Monowai. These include the popular Borland Nature Walk a 30 minute self-guided walk starting at the Lodge; and the Burnt Ridge track an hour and 30 minute walk one way to the shore of Lake Monowai.
