Description

This is a standard 10-bunk hut located in Arthur's Pass National Park in the Hokitika area. Fees apply. Bookings not required - first come, first served. Facilities include mattresses, non-flush toilets and water from a stream. Carroll Hut is on the Harman Pass Route and can be accessed from: SH73: 1 hr 30 min. Dillion Hut / Dillons Homestead Hut: 4 hr 30 min. Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, yellow for youth) for each night's stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. Or buy a Backcountry Hut Pass that gives unlimited use at most Standard and Serviced huts for a 6 or 12-month period. NOTE: There have been reports of cars being broken into and disabled at track ends. Don't leave valuables in your vehicle.
