Description
Freedom camping on DOC land at the Clifden Suspension Bridge car park, near the Waiau River. This suspension bridge was an important transport link in what was a relatively remote part of Southland.
Flushing toilet facilities are available. There is a gravel area for vans and a grassed area for tents.
Be responsible with your waste. Carry in, carry out. Leave no trace.
