Freedom camping permitted in CERTIFIED SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY. You may stay a maximum of 2 nights at any location (in a 30 day period).
The site is roadside rest area off of State Highway 1, beside the Conway River. There are picnic tables and rubbish bins. Dispose of all rubbish appropriately and leave no trace.
No fires.
Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet.
