Eade Memorial Hut (NZDA)

Description
This is a basic three-bunk hut in the Aoraki/Mount Cook area. Bookings not required - first come, first served.
Facilities include lighting, mattresses, non-flush toilets and water from a stream.
The hut is a 1 hour walk from Red Stag Hut. It involves a crossing of the Godley river which can be swift and discoloured.
This hut is owned and maintained by the South Canterbury branch of New Zealand Deerstalkers' Association.
A recommended donation of $5 per person per night can be made at the hut or through the NZDA, South Canterbury Branch. Donations assist NZDA with the costs of maintaining this hut.
