This is a basic four-bunk hut located in Ruataniwha Conservation Park in the Mackenzie Country and Waitaki area. There are no fees. Bookings not required - first come, first served.
Facilities include mattresses, non-flush toilets and water from a stream.
Grough Hut is a 6 hour, 26 km walk from Glen Lyon Station.
Permission is required from Glen Lyon Station (+64 3 438 9644 or +64 3 438 9642) to walk or drive to this hut.
