Description

Camp alongside Lake Hwea in a large, grassy area with good shade from mountain beech trees. Walk around the gorgeous native forest and lake, go fishing or swimming. Fees apply and bookings are required. There are 40 non-powered sites. Facilities include boat ramp, shelter for cooking, flush toilets and water (not treated - boil before use). No tap water in winter. Fires are not permitted at any time. Sites are suitable for tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. No dogs.
