Description

This is a basic four-bunk hut, located in Rakiura National Park in the Stewart Island/Rakiura area. Fees apply and bookings are essential - book through the Rakiura National Park Visitor Centre. Hunters huts in Rakiura National Park were built and are maintained by the Rakiura Hunter Camps Charitable Trust and are for accommodating hunters who have booked the surrounding hunting blocks. These huts must be booked and paid for through the Rakiura National Park Visitor Centre. Facilities include heating, mattresses, non-flush toilets and water (not treated - boil before use). The hut has a small pot belly we recommend you take dry firewood with you.
