Camp beside a high-country lake in the Waimakariri Basin; a good base for bird watching. 20 non-powered/tent sites. Bookings not required - first come, first served. Pay cash on arrival at the self-registration stand at the campsite.
Fires are not permitted at any time.
This is a wildlife refuge and motorised boats are prohibited.
No dogs.
