Description

The beautiful Owen River Recreation Reserve borders the Buller River making it the perfect campsite for all sorts of water activities like trout fishing, kayaking and white water rafting. The campsite is located only a few minutes walk from the Owen River Tavern. Camper vans are welcome and there are power and water points available for use. There are toilets, hot showers, washing and drying facilities on site. The area has a wide range of activities such as trout fishing, kayaking, white water rafting, caving, cycling, camping and tramping in New Zealand's native bush and mountains.
