Description

This is a 20-bunk Great Walk hut on the Paparoa Track, located in Paparoa National Park. Fees apply and bookings are required. Facilities include cooking, heating, lighting, mattresses, non-flush toilets and water (not treated - boil before use). Perched high above the ancient native bush, Pororari Hut boasts stunning 360 degree views including the Lone Hand and out to the Tasman sea. A hut ranger is based at the hut in the summer. As well as checking bookings, they are able to provide information about the track and weather. If you are lucky enough to see kea, please dont feed them.
