Description

Camp next to the beach. Fish, surf at a nearby beach, or watch for Hector's dolphins. Camping is free and bookings are not required - first come, first served. There are 10 non-powered/tent sites, non-flush toilets and water from a stream. Fires are not permitted at any time. Getting there 8 km north of Blenheim, turn off SH 1 at Tuamarina into Hunter Rd, left into Pembers Rd/Rarangi Rd, and follow left into Rarangi Beach Rd. Take sharp left tin Port Underwood Rd and follow to Robin Hood Bay. Windy and gravel road from Whites Bay. Dogs with a DOC permit only. Contact the relevant DOC office to obtain a permit.
