Scotties Hut

Description
This is a basic four-bunk hut located in the St James Conservation Area. There are no fees. Bookings not required - first come, first served.
Facilities include mattresses, non-flush toilets and water from a stream.
The area around Scotties Hut is known as Scotties Camp and is an historic site, dating back to mustering days. The ruins of the first Scotties Camp Hut are nearby.
From Hanmer Springs take Clarence Valley Rd over Jacks Pass to connect with Tophouse Rd (about 13 km from Hanmer Springs). From there, the hut is accessible to walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders via the St James Cycle Trail, and to four wheel drivers via the Edwards Valley Track.
