Description

Victoria Park has a children's playground, opportunities for walking and cross-country and downhill mountain bike adventures. The main access points into the park are from Sign of the Takahe, the main Victoria Park car park, and Sign of the Kiwi. Bus routes reach as far as the Sign of the Takahe. Refer to Metroinfo(external link) for timetables. Gates are open from 7.30am to 7pm and, during daylight savings months, from 7.30am to 9pm. Toilet facilities are available at Victoria Park, Sign of the Takahe and Sign of the Kiwi. Outside the designated dog park, dogs are only permitted on the walkways and must be on a leash at all times.
