Come and stay with us at Southern Venues High Country Farmstay and get a taste of rural New Zealand life. Unwind in the beautiful Northern Southland countryside and relax in our cosy family home. Enjoy the crisp fresh air, silent starry nights and the stunning views. We offer camping on our property for guests bringing their own tents or campervans. You can be assured lots of space and privacy on our privately-owned land, as well as amazing views. A BBQ is available to hire and meals are available to purchase. For camping guests we also offer the use of our guest bathroom and shower, and our laundry facilities are available for a small cost. Southern Venues' Glenfellen Farm is a 1030 hectare working farm at an approximate altitude of 500 metres above sea level. While staying with us you may have the opportunity to help feed or herd the animals, ride on a tractor or watch our sheep being shorn. There are many old buildings on the property which date back to early last century, such as old stables, houses, and shearing sheds, and also remnants of old stone gold miners huts and old water races.
